Meet your doula

For the last 10 years I have been ‘doing the stuff’. Birthing babies, nurturing little ones and figuring out how to navigate ever changing stages whilst feeding a lot of mouths and doing a lot of laundry. Having had an unexpected cesarean with my first child, I then wholeheartedly pursued a natural delivery during my next pregnancy and have since been richly blessed with 3 beautiful, victorious home births. That journey showed me how incredible birth can be and gave me a fresh insight into the strength and grace that can be gained by leaning on those around me. My first doula will always be etched into my story as someone I couldn’t have done it without. I am forever grateful for her gracious and powerful support in the vulnerable and intense moments of birth and postpartum. Now it is my turn, and it couldn’t be a greater joy and privilege to do the same for others.

Birth and motherhood have required all of me, and oftentimes more than I think I have to give. But in my life there hasn’t existed a greater reward. It is the richest, most fulfilling calling I can imagine living out and my greatest treasure. This is my hope for you, too! That you would find the joy, victory and connection that you were born for in birth and beyond. I’d love to come alongside you as you pursue this with your whole heart.
